After breakfast , our guide will pick you up, at around 9:30 am, before going to the park you will have an opportunity to go in to a shopping mall\super market \local shop to buy what you need, which is not provided by us in this safari. After, the guide will take you to Arusha National park which is at an altitude of 1,280-4,217m Size:552km2. This park is usually less busy than parks like Serengeti since it doesn’t offer a chance of seeing the Big Five but it is still beautiful and it has many great birdwatching opportunities. It is great for climbing and it is amazing if you want to be somewhere with smaller crowds but amazing scenery. You can see Ngurudoto Crater, which is also known as Little Ngorongoro. The park is known more for its scenery than its animals. However, you can easily spot buffalos, giraffes, antelopes, flamingos, black and white Columbus monkeys as well as a vast number of different bird species. You might also see zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, klipspringers, dik-diks, buffaloes and hippos. There also elephants, red duikers and leopards, which are rarer. You can’t see any lions or rhinos. You will have a hot packed lunch at the picnic site around Momela Lake.

You will be picked up from your accommodation and you will travel to Tarangire National Park. After a 2½ hour drive you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. The name of this national park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. This river is also the primary source of water for the animals during the annual dry season in Tanzania. Giant baobab trees, bush savannahs and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. Tarangire National Park is considered one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeest which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen every now and again but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to take in the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon you will have a hot lunch outside and then you will leave the park and drive to the lodge, where you will stay overnight.

After breakfast we will depart to Serengeti National Park. We will pass through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with the opportunity to look at wildlife along the way. Serengeti’s literal translation is ‘endless plains’. It is teeming with wildlife (and it is great for spotting big cats!). Altitude: 920-1,850m Size: 14,763 km², Serengeti has a vast number of various animals living in it. It is one of the greatest wildlife destinations on Earth. One of the most famous animals here are the wildebeest. Their yearly migration is one of the things that make Serengeti so unique and popular. You have a chance of seeing all of the Big Five thanks to some black rhinos. However, the black rhinos are quite rare. The park is also known for its predators, especially its lions, and its birdwatching opportunities. There are over 500 bird species living here. We will have a hot lunch outdoors accompanied with your favourite drink, between Ngorongoro and Serengeti.

After breakfast, you will depart for a wildebeest migration safari by Mara River at Kogatende. The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of animals on the planet. The numbers are astonishing: over 1.2 million wildebeest and 300,000 zebras along with topis and other gazelles move in a constant cycle through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in search of nutritious grass and water. Guided by instinct, each wildebeest will cover 800 to 1,000 km on its individual journey along age-old migration routes and hungry predators make sure only the strongest survive, in what is known as ‘the greatest show on Earth.’ You will have lunch at Mara River while waiting for the wildebeest to cross Mara River.

Ngorongoro crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area. The crater rim is over 2,200 meters high and the crater area has its own climate. Then we descend over 600 meters into the crater to look at wildlife for half the day. Supported by a year round supply of water and animal food, the Ngorongoro National Park hosts a vast variety of animals, which includes herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another popular part of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main attractions of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. In the afternoon, you will have a hot lunch outdoors, and then we will start ascending from the crater and head to the lodge.

The park is dominated by the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of water birds. The most impressive are the pink-coloured flamingos, but also many other bird species such as cormorants, pelicans or storks can be observed here. A total of about 400 different bird species live in the park. The park is also famous for its tree climbing lions, which are usually found in the central and open part of the park.
