Amboseli National Park, Lakes Nakuru & Naivasha area and attractions & Masai Mara Game Reserve tour

  • 7 days

Overview

You’ll be able to see the variety of Kenya’s land, wildlife and scenery on this safari. There will be plenty of time for you to see game and relax on this family-friendly safari.

This fun adventure will allow you to see a rich variety of big game, bird life and water creatures. Your friendly expert guide will ensure your comfort and accommodate your requests throughout this special week.

You’ll start your tour at Amboseli National Park. You’ll be able to see the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. There are many elephants at Amboseli, so you’re guaranteed to see them. Also, be on the lookout for lions, cheetahs, zebras and more.

Then, you’ll go to the Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha, which is home to hippos, bird life and a beautiful blue lake. You’ll enjoy an afternoon boat safari on which you can see the wildlife around the lake such as giraffes and zebras on the shore.

You can also enjoy a guided walking tour at the nearby Crescent Island, where you’ll stroll past impalas, giraffes, zebras and many species of birds. Hell’s Gate National Park is nearby, and you’ll cycle over there to see zebras, giraffes, buffalo and smaller game.

Lake Nakuru National Park: Due to some natural factors like increasing water levels, the flamingo numbers have been reducing but the park itself remains stunning – one of Kenya’s finest. The great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forests, waterfalls, wooded hills and euphorbia trees.

The flamingos are accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks, herons and eagles. The scenery here is beautiful.

But that’s only the beginning of what this special park has to offer. The wildlife viewing here is easy and accessible. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to see the rare Rothschild’s giraffes as well as white rhinos, especially along the lakeshore.

The park is also home to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhinos, so get your camera ready!

If you want to see even more great flocks of gorgeous pink flamingos gathered along a rift valley lake, you can visit Lake Bogoria National Reserve instead. It is not uncommon to see thousands of vibrant flamingos along the shoreline there.

Your next and final destination is the Masai Mara. Get ready to see the Big Five here and much more. The Mara is the richest and most diverse eco-system in the region. Over the course of 3 days and 2 nights you’ll experience a vast, beautiful savannah and its wildlife.

If you wish, for a fee you can visit a Masai village or take a hot air balloon ride over the great reserve.

The Mara is a place where memories are made and then brought home to be shared. It’s the perfect place to finish your safari adventure.
