Amboseli, Lake Naivasha & Masai Mara
Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha area and attractions & Masai Mara Game Reserve
Overview
Six days gives you plenty of time to really experience these very popular parks and all the wildlife that they hold. Amboseli and Masai Mara are known for their great numbers of large and small game. At Lake Naivasha and the nearby parks, you’ll enjoy sailing, walking, and bicycle safaris that let you get near the animals. This medium-length safari will have you exploring five wonderful destinations and lots of natural wildlife.
There are two big reasons why Amboseli National Park is Kenya’s second most popular park. The first is that the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro dominates the horizon with its iconic snowy summit. The second is the large population of elephants striding over the plains. You’ll enjoy seeing both in this game reserve.
Lake Naivasha and its surrounding parks have a range of birds, grazing game, and landscapes that can easily be explored by jeep, boat, bicycle, and foot on some of the safaris that we have planned for you. You’ll sail by hippos and take a guided walking tour at the Crescent Island Game Sanctuary to see pelicans, fish-eagles, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles.
You will enjoy a bicycle (or hiking) safari to the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park. Amidst hot pools and other geothermal activity, this unique tour will take you through a dramatic landscape. You will ride (or hike) past buffalos and impalas.
Then, it’s time to set your sights on Kenya’s most popular park, the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. This natural sanctuary is home to thousands of wild animals. It has over 90 species of mammals. All of Africa’s Big Five are here, and the park is known for having many lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, wildebeests, and zebras.
We can’t wait to show you these wonderful Kenyan parks so contact us, and we’ll quickly arrange your booking. If you have any special requirements or requests, just tell us. At Malaika Travel, it’s our job to customise your safari exactly how you want it.
